Koksal Enjoys Fiji Regatta

The annual Fiji Regatta draws participants from around the globe including Turkish enthusiast Seniha Koksal.
She represented her country at the 33rd event at Musket Cove Island Resort and Marina last week.
She is in the country for a short stay to catch up with some of her friends who are on board the 43-footer Cavalo (monohull) sailing around the world.
“I maybe the first Turkish taking part in this event, I feel excited about it is like a great area, great event by the way and it’s like amazing.
“For the time I am in the Fiji Water will make the best use of it.
It is really cool to be here at this event.
“Fiji is a great place and the area like this you cannot debate it. It is a perfect area to swim, snorkelling, surf, and kite surf and there so many things to do and the people are so nice.
She resides in San Francisco, United States and will participate in the Corona Namotu Island to Musket Island Resort SUP Challenge 2016.
“I participate in paddle boarding, and looking forward to the Hobie Cats and fun activities that comes with it”
His friend and captain Mathew Pearce said this was his second regatta and loves the champagne event.
“This is our second regatta we were here last year as well. Four people can be on the yacht.”
Another nature loving couple Maria Gates who is on board Peregrine registered in San Diego, California has been in sailing October 2012.
“We have been sailing like for four years and we will go home for Christmas,” she said.
“Actually Fiji really does things really well.
“I would highly recommend Fiji to anybody.”
