A secondary school teacher, charged with abduction and defilement of a student, will take his plea on November 3 at the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
The matter was called before Magistrate Sufia Humza who extended the bail for Waseem Zafar Khan, 23, yesterday.
Khan is charged with abduction and defilement of a young person under the age of 18 with intent to have carnal knowledge.
It is alleged that on August 12, Khan unlawfully abducted a 15-year-old student of his school against the will of her parents and had unlawful carnal knowledge without her consent.
Khan is represented by Jiten Reddy.
