Different departments under the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts were urged yesterday to submit their plans for the new 2016/2017 financial year.
Ministry Permanent Secretary Iowane Tiko sounded the reminder to departmental heads during a planning workshop as he addressed this as an area of concern.
Mr Tiko said some departments had submitted their plans only up to December 2016 to the Ministry’s National Planning Committee.
This, he said, was an issue of concern because this did not meet the Ministry’s requirement.
Mr Tiko reminded all the heads of departments to try and realign their activities on their timeline to suite the 2016/2017 financial year.
