The ruling date for Simione Seeto is set for October 20 by the Suva Magistrates Court.
Seeto is charged with one count each of soliciting and accepting an advantage and soliciting an advantage by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC). He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The case was called before Magistrate Joji Boseiwaqa. The alleged incident happened in 2012.
Seeto was represented by Lara Dawn Jackson while FICAC was represented by Sanjana Datt.
The case has been adjourned to October 20 for ruling.
