The Vodafone Fijian Residents and the NRL Affiliated States side look forward to a good match at the ANZ Stadium 6pm today.
The visitors’ co-captain Leon Rotuma has links to Fiji through his great grandfather who is from Rotuma.
“It’s a great honour and a privilege to come here and hopefully I meet up with some families.
“We are expecting a tough game.”
Co-captain Delaine Edwards is happy to be here.
“We know it will be a tough game that’s why the boys are trying to look after themselves in this weather.”
Residents’ captain Saimone Lomaloma believes the local boys are up for a good challenge.
“The boys are pretty pumped for this match.”
