Dream on, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola told Semesa Karavaki yesterday.

The Minister for Defence, Immigration and National Security was responding to statements made by Opposition MP, Mr Karavaki, in Parliament.

Mr Karavaki said Fiji’s win in the Olympic Sevens in Rio was a sign that the FijiFirst Government was coming to an end as prophesied in the past.

Ratu Inoke said it reminded him of a song with the lyric ‘dream on, dream on’.

Mr Karavaki said it was foretold that Fiji’s win in the Olympic Sevens in Rio would happen when the FijiFirst Government was in power.

However, he also said that it meant the end of their Government and SODELPA would take over from there.

“It is time for FijiFirst to do its part and then the end comes, SODELPA continues,” Mr Karavaki said.

Ratu Inoke said that it reminded him of a song sung by Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler with the lyrics ‘Dream on…Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away’.

He said Parliament should be used as a place to discuss issues affecting our nation and not for political gain.
