More people have been nabbed by Police for their alleged role in a daring carjacking incident at Kashmir, Lautoka, last week.
Well placed Police sources have confirmed that four suspects including a driver who drove the men to the scene in a separate vehicle, has also been arrested. The location of others are known to Police and their arrests are imminent.
Police sources have also confirmed that a large sum of cash- around $16, 000 – was in the vehicle which the men had carjacked. The money was recovered by Police.
It has also been confirmed that the men captured in the carjacking incident were also wanted for other theft and criminal offences around the country.
