A 64-year-old grandfather pleaded guilty in the High Court in Suva yesterday for allegedly sexually assaulting his granddaughter.
The matter was called before Justice Vincent Perera.
The accused is charged with four counts each of sexual assault on his 9-year-old granddaughter.
It is alleged that the incident occurred in April this year at Nausori.
The charges were read to the accused in the iTaukei language which he understood and agreed to.
The case has been adjourned to October 6.
