The Baby Pearls finished the Oceania World Youth Netball qualifiers undefeated after beating Cook Islands 45-40 in New Zealand yesterday.

The Fijian U21 netters along with Cook Islands and Samoa will join defending champions New Zealand at the Netball World Youth Cup at Gaborone in Botswana next year.

The Vicki Wilson-coached side dominated leading 15-6, 28-15, 35-27 and 45-40 respectively in all four quarters against the Cook Islands.

In other games, NZ Northern Netball thrashed Tonga 74-43 while Samoa beat Papua New Guinea 55-32.

Results: PNG 28-8 Netball Northern, Fiji 55-34 Tonga, Samoa 37-42 Cook Islands, PNG 65-33 Tonga, Netball Northern 52-36 Cook Islands, Fiji 47-33 Samoa, Fiji 49-4 Netball Northern, Tonga 29-70 Samoa, PNG 42-55 Cook Islands, Tonga 22-66 Netball Northern, Fiji 46-32 Cook Islands, PNG 36-59 Samoa, Tonga 29-62 Cook Islands, Netball Northern 55-26 Samoa, PNG 33-56 Fiji.
