Narere Buses $10K Boost For Snooker
Narere Buses is providing a $10,000 sponsorship for the Southern Division Billiard and Snooker Association business-house tournaments for the next four years.
Association president David Ratnam was grateful for the financial assistance.
“Snooker is not really a popular sport in the country and therefore it is hard to get sponsorship,” Ratnam said.
“We are very thankful for Narere Buses for coming on board and sponsoring our tournaments.
“These tournaments are important because it allows the sport to grow.
“We will have $2500 for each tournament which is more than enough and we are hoping for a good turnout.”
The Southern Division Billiard and Snooker Association will have three-team competition tomorrow in Nausori.
