5000 MT Cargoes Off Loaded

Close to 5000 metric tonnes (mt) of general cargoes were off loaded at Suva Port last week and this week.
Nicholas Chandra of Pacific Agency Fiji Limited said two of their vessels MV Kiribati Chief and MV Coral Chief arrived last week.
The MV Kiribati Chief had left the country after unloading 1004.3 metric tonnes of cargoes.
He said the Coral Chief was to offload 436.2 mt of cargoes.
The two vessels off loaded cargoes to the total of 1440.5 mt
Both these vessels first berthed at the Lautoka Port.
Marseu Vincenti of William & Gosling said three of their vessels berthed at Suva Port.
The vessels are the MV Captaine Tasman, MV Southern Moana and the MV Southern Pearl.
These three vessels he said off loaded 3402.5 metric tonnes of cargoes – MV Captaine Tasman – 1906 mt, MV Southern Moana – 689 mt and MV Southern Pearl – 807.5 mt.
All these vessels he said left Suva on Tuesday.
According to Mr Vicenti the cruise liner MS Dawn Princess also berthed at the Suva Port and left for Apia, Samoa on Sunday.
