A 32-year-old is the latest victim in a string of alleged hit-and-run incidents on our roads.

Police are seeking information on the incident which occurred on Sunday night.

An unnamed 35-year-old of Suva was returning from the West when he happened upon the victim lying on the road.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the commuter, took the victim to the Sigatoka Hospital.

“The incident occurred close to midnight along the Queens Road, Cuvu Top,” Ms Naisoro said.

“A 32-year-old carpenter of Nadola, Cuvu was bumped by an unknown vehicle.

“Anyone who has information that could assist investigators is requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919 or the Sigatoka Police Station on 9904 025.”

The victim was transferred to the Lautoka Hospital later.

In an earlier incident, two youths survived an alleged hit-and-run incident in Suva last Thursday
