Propeller Shaft Services Labasa and Pacific Finance Suva from Group A and defending champions Ba and Jack’s Nadi are favourites to qualify for the Courts Inter-District Championship semifinals .

This was after the completion of the second day at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Labasa top Group A with four points,  Suva second with 3 points while in Group B, Ba and Nadi have four points each but the ‘Men in Black’ top the pool with better goal differential.

The last day of pool play today will be a tough as the teams know their fate today whether they would play in the semifinals on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Labasa are the team to beat as they held Singh’s Rental Lautoka 0-0 last night.

Goalkeeper’s Benaminio Mateinaqara was in top form for Lautoka and Akuila Mateisuva for Labasa.

Labasa’s Christopher Wasasala goal was disallowed for an off-side offence while Lautoka’s import Samuela Drudru failed to find the net since joining Lautoka in the transfer window last month.

The draw puts Labasa in a perfect position to qualify for the semifinal as they need a draw against Nadroga while INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants champions Lautoka desperately need a win to qualify for the semifinals against Suva today.
