One World Healing Church makes no apology for charging people for healing.

Leader, Marama Vada, said that was how they survived financially as a church.

She says if you need to be healed the fee is $70, which you pay first before she prays for you.

She claims 100 per cent success.

“I give promotions, pay rise, jobs to people,” she said.

Prayer sessions happen every day from Monday to Friday, Saturday from 9am to 12pm. The healing sessions start at 1pm.

The church, founded by her late husband in 2003, has 50 members, 40 of whom are fulltime. It is based in Cunningham, Suva, and has no other branches.

Marama Vada said: “I have healed more than 76,000 people in Fiji and around the world.

“God has personified, God is physically present in this world and I am the vessel, if Fiji believe it or not, that’s it,” she said.

“The church does not believe in having a church committee or church bank accounts and they do not belong to any other denomination. It is an independent church.

“If I open one door in this world, none can close it and if I close one, none can open it. That’s my power because every second of my life belongs to God.

“We don’t get sick, this body is God’s temple why are people getting sick? If I step into a ward, after one week that ward will be empty, people will be healed, I heal people, this is a healing church, it’s not a church like other churches, we don’t rape, we don’t lie, we don’t cheat, we don’t fight, we are pure, righteous, and  holy people of the living God,” she added.

She claims the church has students from University of the South Pacific, Fiji National University and high school students who have left school to join the church, some even resigned from work.

“They stay in the church compound as full time church workers and they are called the Levites of the church.

“We don’t practise sin in this church, all those pastors who are being convicted of rape, they deserve to be in jail and life imprisonment. What kind of God are they serving and what Bible are they reading?  They are setting bad examples to the younger generation.

“We also don’t do offerings in church like what these other churches are doing, where will they get money to pay bills if the offering in church is too much, that is a big burden to the people.”

Church member Ilisapeci Saqeta, 62, said: “I had cervix cancer for six years, and I was healed in this church in 2003. I have been part of this church since. I  live here working full time for the Lord.”

Marama Vada said “People from all over the World come here and I pray for them and  healed them, people with cancer, diabetes, asthma even AIDS.”
