Kamil Into Final
Kamil College of Ba have booked the final spot in the Courts Inter-District Championship secondary schools competition.
This was after they beat Vashist Muni College 3-0 at Bidesi Park yesterday.
Coach Azam Ali said the result was what the team had worked hard for and looking forward to the final.
“The goal is to win,”he said.
“We can play in the final and achieve our goal. We were 3-0 up in the first half but playing 90 minutes for the first time was a bit hard.”
Kamil will take on Bulileka today.
Meanwhile, Vashist Muni College coach Nazra Hassan said this is the first time they are playing against the team from Ba.
“The boys performed well as we have mostly Under-16 players,” Hassan said.
“But I think they have done really well. We didn’t have much time to prepare.”
Vashist play Nadi Muslim today.
