Pramod Kumar’s Fully Restored Holden HG 1969
Pramod Kumar, an automotive electrician by profession, has been building/restoring his Holden HG 1969 model for the past seven years.
Although not finished entirely yet, Mr Kumar, the director of P Kumar Electrical Services Ltd in Lautoka, is happy with the progress made.
When he bought the vehicle, it was rust down and was worth just the shell.
Using his 35 years of experience in the field, Mr Kumar has restored the vehicle in its entirety. Both the interior and exterior has been modified.
Mr Kumar used to bring the vehicle parts from Australia whenever he would go there whether it be for a business trip or a personal trip.
“The parts were a bit expensive to get especially because of the currency exchange rate, but I am happy to have put my car on the road,” he said.
Mr Kumar still has more work to do on his vehicle but these are just minor works.
