Kumar Lots Equaliser For Navua
Courts IDC senior division champion Navua will miss the services of centre back Rajinesh Raju against Savusavu today.
Navua came back from 1-0 down to draw against Taveuni with the equaliser scored by Pranil Kumar.
Coach Nazir Hussein admitted it will be tough to retain their title this year.
“I think this year’s IDC is very tough,” Hussein said.
“It has been quite difficult for us and having a player like Raju injured will be a big blow to the squad.
“But I’ve players who are willing to replace him.
“We need to win against Savusavu.
Hussein said they need to improve on their communication on the field.
“Communication is important and I have told my players time and time again.
“We did not have a good game because the boys failed to communicate,” he said.
