Local chef Pranesh Goundar appointment as new head chef at Lomani Island Resort will boost the culinary range of the Malolo Lailai site.

The above sentiments were Raffe Hotels and Resorts chief executive Brad Robinson’s.

Mr Robinson said: “Dining at Lomani has always been regarded by guests as a highlight of their holiday.

“To further enhance Lomani’s culinary reputation, Chef Pranesh is creating a range of unique, signature dishes that will showcase his creativity and skill.

“As a highly talented local chef, Pranesh will be presenting contemporary classics along with some traditional Fijian dishes, many with a subtle and modern twist.”

The boutique style adults only resort shimmers with elegance by the surrounding warm waters of Malololailai island.

Mr Robinson said the property was very excited to be offering its guests some amazing menus featuring dishes that were fresh, delicious, and uniquely Lomani.

Set in the Mamanuca group, Lomani Island Resort has all the trimmings you’ll fall in love with: tropical gardens meticulously cared for under the towering coconut palms of the Island, white beachfront sand, pristine lagoons, and crystal clear waters gently lapping.

Abundance of flora

and fauna

The island was once home to a copra plantation, which explains the abundance of palms, frangipani, hibiscus and bougainvillea flowers.

Raise your sights morning and night and you’ll soak up stunning sunsets and elegantly sunrises. Glide into the ocean only footsteps away for bursts of exotic colours in the tropical marine life and coral.

And allow yourself to float into the bewitching charms of tranquillity and calm that emanate from the beautiful resort facilities.
