Nadi Muslim, Kamil College Final

Nadi Muslim College booked a spot in the final of the Courts IDC Secondary Schools competition after beating Vashist Muni 2-1 at Bidesi Park yesterday.
Nadi will play Kamil College in the final on Monday.
The win came despite the differences between Nadi coach Nadeem Mohammed, fourth official Naraiyan Naicker and referee Ashwin Raj which resulted in Mohammed close to being escorted off the field.
Mohammed expressed his concerns regarding a Vashist Muni player swearing at a Nadi Muslim College player.
“He was supposed to get the attention of the referee that was his role. But what he did was get the security and got the Police to try and remove me.
“I give credit to Fiji Football referees director Rakesh Varman who handled the situation well.
“Varman intervened and told them that they are wrong and allowed me to stay.”
Varman said Mohammed did not breach any rules.
“I asked the referee if he had any case against the Nadi coach and the referee told me that there was no case.
“I told the referee he needed to decide whether the coach needed to go but he said it was okay for the coach to remain.
“If we find anyone who is not behaving or being irresponsible we will have to take action but when I intervened everyone was calm and we solved the situation.
