Rokolio Seals Win For Vatukoula

Lekima Rokolio kept Vatukoula’s chance alive after scoring in the 2-1 win over Bua during the Courts IDC senior division match yesterday.
The 29-year-old has been playing for Vatukoula for the past four years.
“I feel very happy and excited about the win and even more because I scored the winning goal,” Rokolio said.
“I have been playing soccer ever since I attended Tavua Primary School.
“We worked and trained hard to get where we are today and this win will be a major boost for us when we play Seaqaqa.
“Hopefully I can repeat what I did against Bua to help Vatukoula qualify for the semi final.”
A happy coach Niko Rokomatu said they came into the game expecting nothing less than a win.
“We knew what a win would do for us and it has given us a new lease of life to qualify for the semifinals,” Rokomatu said.
“The boys did well and I am proud of them for not giving up. We will work even harder to win against Seaqaqa.
“So I take my hat off to the boys for doing the job and I hope we can repeat the same in our last pool game.”
