Reconsider Travel Plans If Travelling To Natadradave: FRA
People flock to Natadradave to bathe or drink what is now called “healing water.”

Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) is advising motorists intending to travel to Natadradave to reconsider travel plans for today as rising water levels from nearby streams and creeks could flood two Irish crossings located enroute to Natadradave Village.

The two crossings including Nabulau Crossing located 8.8km on Dawasamu Road and Delakado Crossing located 0.48km on Naboro Cocoa Road may soon come under water.

Fiji Roads Authority’s maintenance contractor in the area will continue to monitor the water level at these two crossings and strongly advise that travellers reschedule their trip as they may find themselves stranded as a result.

As a precautionary measure, motorists and members of the public are advised not to cross flooded or swollen streams. Other prevailing conditions include slippery road surfaces especially on the unsealed road network and potholes on sealed road surfaces.

FRA wishes to advise that the Korovou road crews are also inspecting other roads in the area that may also come under water as a result of the heavy rain.
