What happened:

Propeller Shaft Services Labasa booked their spot for the 2016 Courts Inter District Championship final after beating Jack’s Nadi 1-0 at the ANZ Stadium, yesterday.

This would be Labasa’s second final this season after the INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament last month.

Babasiga Lions golden boy Edwin Sahayam scored in the second minute of the second half.

Sahayam said it was an opportunity he cannot miss.

“This is a very proud moment for my team as  Nadi was always a tough team to beat in any tournament but we just played our hearts out.

“I got the opportunity and I know I can’t miss.

“I just hit the ball hard and I want to dedicate the goal to my father Samuel Saheb who will be celebrating his birthday next week.”

It was slow start for Labasa in the opening minutes as goalkeeper Akuila Mataisuva was stretchered out.

The jetsetters had their chances having key players like Napolioni Qasevakatini and Rusiate Matererega but failed to score.

 Big Play:  Mataisuva made crucial saves.
