FMF Staff Kick Off Pink Lids Campaign

Staff of FMF Foods last week kicked off their campaign in support of the awareness for breast Cancer and related advocacy activities traditionally held in October.
The FMF Team hosted representatives of the Fiji Cancer Society, media and their neighbours from other businesses in the Walu Bay area to a morning tea.
The morning tea was an opportunity for the staff to come together and hear from Cancer survivor Kenoni, who shared her struggles with breast cancer, her faith and the toll of the disease.
The staff, who will be collecting through Fiji Cancer Society money tins in each department across the FMF Group listened intently to the message of the importance of early detection.
The same sentiments were shared by group managing director, Ram Bajekal, who echoed the same message to staff and encouraged them to get regular check-ups and continually strive to live healthy.
Overall, the event became a good discussion forum with the staff, who also shared their experiences with each other about family and friends who have battled or succumbed to the disease.
The team also officially launched the Pink Lid initiative, which will see FineFare Breakfast Crackers Pails, in 2kg and 5kg, with pink lids in store and five cents from each of these pink lidded buckets in the month of October will be donated to the Fiji Cancer Society by FMF.
