Alleged Drug Cultivators Front Court
Two alleged drug cultivators were further remanded by the Labasa Magistrates Court yesterday. Shiu Raj and Bijendra Kumar were jointly charged with one count of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs.

Two alleged drug cultivators were further remanded by the Labasa Magistrates Court yesterday.
Shiu Raj and Bijendra Kumar were jointly charged with one count of unlawful cultivation of illicit drugs.
Kumar has an additional charge of one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
It is alleged that the pair of Boubale, Bulileka, were cultivating illicit drugs at Lekutulevu mountains outside Labasa Town.
The court heard they were arrested last Saturday after Police received a tip-off from nearby villagers.
The two appeared before Magistrate Thushara Thennakoon.
The case was adjourned to October 19 for mention.
