Nailaga Rugby Club secretary Ananaisa Mocei is a happy man after receiving a new set of uniform.

Rooster Poultry general manager Stanley Raniga made the presentation to the club at Navau, Ba on Wednesday.

“We are very grateful to receive such a timely assistance from Rooster Poultry,” Mocei said.

“Our old uniforms were in a state of disrepair.”

Raniga said apart from providing employment opportunities, assisting in natural disasters, they are delighted to sponsor the Nailaga RC to build their relationship with the community.

“Nailaga Village, being an immediate neighbouring village of Rooster Poultry here in Navau, Ba, is part of our community,” Raniga said.

“We are dedicated to engage with the community and vanua.

“We wish Nailaga RC all the best and we hope our sponsorship will provide them with the much-needed boost to make their community proud.”

Nailaga are currently the defending champions of the Ba Rugby Union’s Challenge Shield.

The side plays Ba River in round two of the BRU competition at the Market Ground at 2pm tomorrow.
