TFL chief to talk on the future of Global Telecom Industry with disruptive technologies

Delegates attending the 2016 Top Executives (TOPEX) Conference will get to hear from TFL chief executive, Mothilal De Silva, on: “The future of Global Telecom Industry with disruptive technologies”.
The two-day event is being held at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa on Denarau Island.
Background and experience
Mr De Silva has been the chief executive of TFL since September 2013.
He served as Group Chief Strategy Officer of Dialog Axiata Plc (Alternative name is Dialog Telekom Plc).
He also served as Group Chief Corporate Officer of Dialog Telekom Plc (formerly Dialog Telekom Ltd).
Prior to that, he was General Manager of Corporate Planning, Quality Systems, Market Development and Management of Information Systems of Dialog Telekom Ltd.
He was instrumental in obtaining ISO 9002 in 1994 in 1999, ISO 9001,1994 and 2001 encompassing Product Development and ISO 9000 in 2000 and in 2003.
He is involved in Strategic Planning, Valuation and Acquisitions, Feasibility Studies, Process Improvement, Program Management and Enterprise Risk Management.
Mr De Silva’s research interest is outsourcing in the field of telecommunication.
Education
Mr De Silva holds a Bachelor of Science in Production Engineering from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka.
He obtained his Master of Science in Information Technology from University of Keele in UK.
He got MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenapura in Sri Lanka.
Mr De Silva further obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management from Netherlands International Institute of Management, Maastricht.
And he got a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Post Graduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.
