Subrails Opens 12th Retail Shop

Subrails Furniture opened its first shop in Lautoka back in 2000 and 16 years later, the family owned business employs more than 200 staff around Fiji.
Subrails Furniture opened its 12th outlet in Nina Street, Suva yesterday.
Local Government Minister, Parveen Bala was proud of the expansion of the locally made furniture retailer.
“We have to support Fijian made products and this is a good example of such business,” Mr Bala said.
Speaking as the chief guest at the opening of their new retail shop, Mr Bala thanked Subrails Furniture director, Subrail Goundar, for all his hard work and commitment to the business.
He encouraged the general public to buy Fijian made products and support local businesses around the country.
“I’m just happy that we’ve reached another milestone and the business has grown,” said Mr Goundar.

The new retail shop will employ more than 20 staff in the heart of Suva.
Subrails Furniture has outlets in Rakiraki, Tavua, Ba, Lautoka, Nadi, Sigatoka, Navua, Nabua, Laucala Beach Estate and Nausori.
They carry the largest range of quality locally manufactured lounge suites, beddings, mattresses, wardrobes, coffee tables as well as wall units with 25 years of manufacturing experience.
