Govind Park To Host More Matches

Govind Park was back in action yesterday following repairs after Cyclone Winston.
This was when Ba trounced Nadroga 6-0 in the Vodafone Premier League clash.
Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel said yesterday that he did not know when the facility would be fully operational.
“We don’t own the facility any more as we have given it back to the Ba Town Council,” he said.
The park was closed due to the extensive damages sustained when Tropical Cyclone Winston struck the country early this year. Half of the pavilion was closed to spectators as the upgrade is yet to be completed as certain seating arrangements have been cleared for fans. The park will host two matches this weekend.
