Rugby Star Koroibete Weds Whippy At Village

Wednesday October 19 will be a day etched in the memory of star Melbourne Storm rugby league, Marika Koroibete.
Yesterday, the Fijian speedstar married the love of his life, Emma Whippy, at his village in Naraiyawa, Namosi, before his loved ones and friends.
He said: “We have been planning this for a while now and I am just happy that today has finally come. We have been together for a long time and we have a beautiful son, so this day is really the icing on the cake for us.
“The wedding ceremony was really good and I want to thank all the boys and the villagers who helped make today a possibility. We have been working hard for the last couple of days and it couldn’t have happened without them.”
Their honeymoon plans are now on hold because Koroibete only has a few days left before he joins the Australian Wallabies team for camp and to prepare for Grand Slam Tour of Britain and Ireland next month.
They plan to spend their honeymoon in Hawaii after the tour.
