Twelve women are set to battle for the Miss Fiji 2016 Crown.
The crowned queen of the Miss Fiji Pageant will then represent Fiji at the Miss Pacific Island Pageant in Apia, Samoa on November 26.
This year the Miss Fiji Pageant will be held at the Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka from November 12 to 19.
Fiji earlier had two winners from the Miss Pacific Islands pageant in 2009 Merewalesi Nailatikau and 2011 Alisi Rabukawaqa.
The Miss South Pacific had become the most prestigious International pageant in the Pacific after the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant.
Miss Fiji Pageant public relations officer Liga Gukisuva said they are still finalising things for the pageant.
