The Acting Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Veena Bhatnagar, paid a surprise visit to the villages of Natadradave and Delakado in Dawasamu on Tuesday.

The two villages are now well known for the healing water that has been found within the villages’ water sources.

People from around the country have been flocking down in numbers to rid their ailments by bathing and drinking the miracle water.

Ms Bhatnagar had visited the villages before and was overwhelmed by the selfless service that local villagers provided the elderly, sick and disabled visitors.

She said she was deeply touched by their gesture and commended their effort in making the experience an easier one for those who needed help.

It was for this reason the Minister was encouraged to visit the locals of the two villages again and as a token of appreciation, gave the helpers at the site some food items for their hard work and kindness.
