Our 7s Heroes In Action Today At Central Coast

Organisers of the 2016 UON Central Coast 7s look forward to see our 2016 Rio Olympics gold medallists in action today.
The Fijians Olympians will no doubt create a difference and boost the three-day tourney.
Organises of the 2016 UON Central Coast 7s tweets “Exciting times with sevens legends to take the field.”
Seven Fijian teams will take part in the annual event.
Daveta includes Seremaia Tuwai and Apisai Domolailai while Jasa Veremalua and Masivesi Dakuwaqa will boost Hideaway Hurricanes.
The other teams include Tabadamu, Newtown, Uluinakau, Police and Ratu Filise which is captained by Amenoni Nasilasila.
Daveta and Tabadamu are grouped in Pool C alongside Australia University and NSW. Hideaway Hurricanes leads Pool D with Newtown, ACT Brumbies and Sydney University.
The Nabua Broncos side will compete in the U17 division.
Gollings for Daveta
Former England 7s rep Ben Gollings has replaced Osea Kolinisau in the Daveta team.
In a statement put out by Daveta Rugby Club yesterday states “England’s Rugby 7s point scoring machine Ben Gollings will join us at the UON Central Coast 7s this weekend.
“Ben will replace Fiji 7s skipper Osea Kolinisau in the side who had to withdraw from the tour at the last minute due to other commitments.
“It will be an honour to have Ben join the squad and we are sure his experience will rub off on our less experienced players and assist greatly in their development.”
Newtown Rugby Club update
Newtown had a surprise visit from the SDA Church in Granville on Wednesday night.
The side will play their first pool match against Hideaway Hurricanes at 1pm(FJ Time) today.
