Volleyball Players Clean Up Communities

Members of the Black Hawk and Kinoya Under-20 volleyball teams will clean up the Father Law Home in Veisari, Lami tomorrow.
Including seven players who are members of the Fijian men’s team preparing for the first round of the World Cup qualifiers at the Vodafone Arena next week, they will also donate a washing machine.
Comprising unemployed youths who are also members of the Kinoya Sector 3 Youth Group and Kinoya Methodist Youth Fellowship, they have been working the past few weeks with the Valelevu Police Station and Nasinu Town Council raising awareness on the importance of a clean environment.
“The group is set to embark on its most ambitious project yet and that is to clean Father Law Home in Lami this Saturday,”organiser Rosa Dalituicama said.
“The group will be working with the Kinoya Old Boys Association (KOBA) who will provide three brush cutters, rakes and wheelbarrows for our use.”
The cleanup campaign for the Father Law Home will involve around 40 youths this Saturday from 7am to 12pm.
