Team Building For Fiji National University Staff
Sports bring people together, Fiji National University vice-chancellor Professor Nigel Healey says.
He made the comment during FNU annual staff sports day at the Nataly Park, Nadi yesterday.
“We are focused on improving the academic quality of what we do and it is very important to use this event to bring people together,” he said.
He applauded the staff of FNU for turning out.
“It’s really a day to bring everyone together from the FNU campuses across the country.
“We deliberately organise the event so teams mix together and bond.
“We provided transport for 800 people and provided accommodation.”
Chairman of the organising committee William Mar said: “This is the first time for the sports day to be held in the western division.
“The objective of this event was to allow team building and bonding of the staff of all the FNU campuses.”
