Team Fiji are the top favourite to win the inaugural Fiji Airways triples bowls at the Nadi Sports and Social Club.

The side comprised of Arun Kumar, Semesa Naiseruvati and Rajnesh Prasad will face an uphill battle from Team Geotech which has the services of Adbul Kalim, Ratish Lal, and Som Padayachi.

The Kumar led-side was undefeated in pool plays yesterday defeating  W & G 26-7, Lautoka Masters 29-11 and Fiji Women 23-9.

In the second quarter-final Fiji Two (Samuela Tui, Curtis Mar and Kushall Pillay) face W and G (Rick Eyre, Lema Matailevu and Jona Koroitamana).

Kombat (Munesh Kumar, Shorab Khan and Keegan Jaduram) face Fiji Women Two (Sai Walker, Loretta Tikoisuva, and Usa Kalim).

Fiji Airways Airbus comprised Bobby Prasad, David Aitcheson and Dan Vinod will face Islands Electric (Permal Satya, Zainal Mohammed and Raymond Singh).

Tournament coordinator Bobby Prasad said the event is to assist the national teams for the World Bowls.

The quarterfinal is scheduled for 8.30am today.
