Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama’s state visit to New Zealand ended on a high note with the Bledisloe Cup on Saturday night and  church services yesterday.

Mr Bainimarama with wife Mary first attended a mass with Father Iosefo Tuvere, who last year celebrated his 30 years of service as a priest.

This was followed by a Fijian combined service at the New Life Wesleyan Methodist church with Ratu Kadavulevu Old Boys and Auckland Fijian community members.

Last night, there was a combined Fijian community service at the Pakuranga Methodist Church.

Mr Bainimarama returns today following a very successful first state visit to New Zealand.

The red carpet had been rolled out for the visit.
