Indian Navy Gives Free Medical Check-ups
A free two-day medical check-up is available to the public at Sukuna Park in Suva today and tomorrow.
The medical check-up is organised by the Indian Navy Officers in conjunction with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
The medical check-up will be from 9am to 12pm and from 1pm to 4pm.
People will be able to get checked for high blood pressure, diabetes and for other heath conditions.
INS Sumitra Commanding Officer Kizhakke Sreesan said: “We request Fijians to come for their health check-up.
“We have one doctor and one medical assistant on board who will help the Ministry of Health and Medical Services team to help provide medical check-ups for the people.”
Tomorrow will be the last day to take advantage of the free medical check- ups. The vessel returns to India on Saturday. Edited by Jonathan Bryce
