Fiji Women In Semis
The Fiji Whites and Fiji Blue women’s team have qualified for the semifinals in the Oceania Volleyball zonal competition.
Fiji Whites will play Cook Islands at 1:30pm while Fiji Blue will play the Solomon Islands at 3:30pm at the Vodafone Arena today.
In day four of the competition, Fiji Whites beat Fiji Blues 25-21, 25-22 and 27-26.
Fiji Blues coach Teresia Vocevoce said they are positive they will meet Fiji Whites in the final.
“We will meet Fiji Whites in the finals of the tournament,” Vocevoce said.
“We played the Solomon Islands on Wednesday and we have noticed that they have a very good defence.
“There isn’t much competition from Cook Islands and Solomon Islands but we will not take them lightly.”
