The Fiji men’s volleyball team are ready to take on favourites New Zealand in tonight’s World Cup Qualifying 1 decider at the Vodafone Arena, Suva.

The Paul Vatucawaqa- captained- side proved too strong for Tonga last night as they took out the match 3-0. The Fijians dominance was reflected on the scoreline, 25-18, 25-18 and 25-14.

Vatucawaqa said they are looking forward to tonight’s showdown against the Kiwis.

“We are going back to our camp and analyse our game and work on areas that we were weak in,” he said.

“We are going to make changes but overall we are going to play simple volleyball and give New Zealand are run for their money.”

New Zealand also beat Tonga 3-0 on Thursday. Tonight’s final starts at 7.30pm. Edited by Osea Bola
