Hyundai Motor Company Named A Top Green Company By Newsweek

Hyundai Motor Company was honoured in the 2016 Newsweek Green Rankings, created in partnership with Corporate Knights and HIP Investor.
Since 2009, the Newsweek Green Rankings have been one of the world’s foremost corporate environmental rankings.
It assesses the 500 largest publicly-traded companies in the United States and the 500 largest publicly-traded companies globally on overall environmental performance.
“This recognition from Newsweek is a testament to our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint globally,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president, corporate and product planning, Hyundai Motor America.
“Hyundai will continue to place importance on its eco-friendly Blue Drive® lineup in all segments.
“Part of this initiative is the arrival of the Hyundai Ioniq late this year, marking Hyundai’s very first car offered in three electric versions to debut in the US.”
