Mexican actress Karla Olivares Souza arrived at the Nadi International Airport yesterday for a vacation.

The American Broadcasting Corporation television series How To Get Away With Murder star arrived on board a Fiji Airways flight and spent the day at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa.

The 30-year-old actress plays the role of a law student, Laurel Castillo, in the legal drama series which is in its third successful season since its debut in 2014.

Ms Souza got her first break in 2009 in the Mexican television series ‘Verano de Amor’ and in 2013 starred in two Mexican box office hits ‘Nosotros los Nobles’ and ‘Instructions not included’.

In 2014 she moved to Los Angeles where she pursued her career in the English speaking stage and clinched a major role in the ABC legal drama series.

The TV show was named Television Programme of the Year by the American Film Institute and won Outstanding Drama Series at the Image Awards and GLAAD Awards.

The Mexican actress is married to a Texas banker, Marshall Trenkmann.
