Nagusa,Gavidi Join Daveta
Telecom Fijian Warriors rep Nemani Nagusa and Sakiusa Gavidi joined the Daveta rugby team ahead of the Singapore Cricket Club 7s tournament which begins on Friday.
The team aim to defend their title in the three-day tournament after not faring so well in the Central Coast 7s
The side have settled well in Singapore and conducted rugby clinics with young players on Saturday and yesterday seeks spiritual uplifting at the Covenant Community Methodist Church.
Team manager Paula Biu said the team was preparing well.
“There were two replacements that had joined the team in Nagusa and Gavidi who plays for the Borneo Rugby Club in Malaysia.
“We had some rugby clinic with age grade players and had a training session with Singapore All Star touch rugby team.
“The weather here is so humid and it rains in the afternoon but we are managing well,” Biu said.
