President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote has ended his Middle East tour after visiting our Fijian peacekeepers in Sinai.
There he met the Fijian men and women serving in the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) mission at the South Camp in Southern Sinai.
As Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces President Konrote thanked the troops in Sinai for their role in maintaining peace and security there.
Prior to his visit to Sinai, President Konrote visited our Fijian peacekeeping troops serving in Lebanon, Golan Heights and Iraq.
