A 21-year-old charged for alleged burglary and theft elected for his case to stay at the Magistrates Court.

Saimoni Talai appeared before Magistrate Waleen Geroge at the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.

It is alleged that on October 4, Talai at Raiwaqa, willfully and unlawfully entered a home with intent to commit theft.

It is also alleged that he stole property with valued at $4218.

Police Prosecutor Caroline Fisher served full phase disclosures.

Talai is to present two suitable sureties on the next date.

He has been remanded. The case has been adjourned to November 14.
