Donut King Officially Opens At TappooCity Suva

Donut King franchise in Fiji continues to expand and yesterday it officially opened at TappooCity Suva.
Tappoo Group executive director, Mahendra Tappoo, said: “Donut King is now in TappooCity and they have opened a beautiful outlet which is up to the international standards.
He added there were added benefits as the Fijian economy could benefit from the investment made by the international franchise.
“They have invested a lot of money which is all good for the Fijian economy,” he said.
“We are truly proud of the fact that Donut King has planned to partner with us and I am pleased to say that they have signed up for an outlet in TappooCity Lautoka as well.”
He added TappooCity was a highly successful mall which is rated 5-Star and Donut King definitely met the standards to actually operate there.
The franchise is operated by Allied Food Brands (Fiji) Limited in partnership with Dilip Jamnadas.
General manager for Allied Food Brands, Hellen White, said opening one of their stores at TappooCity Mall in Suva was a good investment.
“The Tappoo mall is one of the most prestigious department store building in town,” she said.
“We have taken extra staff due to this expansion as well, therefore creating more job opportunities for locals.”
She added the staff members were getting trained giving them opportunities to progress through the company.
Future expansions
Ms White added they had plans for expansion as it was very vital for the growth of the business.
“We have one more outlet which will be opened at 9 Miles before Christmas and then we will be in West next year,” she said.
“I have visited and seen possible locations in Sigatoka, Nadi and we will have an outlet in TappooCity Lautoka.”
In the past six months, Donut King has opened three stores – at Damodar City, MHCC and the most recent at TappooCity Suva.
