Namara/Benau is the new team in the 75th Northern Then India Valibar Sangam soccer tournament.
The four-day annual event began at Subrail Park in Labasa yesterday.
Namara/Benau coach Rajnesh Singh said the team comprised players from two different areas.
“This is the first time for some players to play in this tournament and they are excited,” Singh said.
“We are in Pool One with Batinikama and Naleba.
“We are here to take part, enjoy and learn from the experience.
“Our focus right now is to take one game at a time and make sure to maintain our discipline.”
