The Minister for Defence, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, who is in Indonesia, visited the 2016 IndoDefence Expo in Jakarta. He was accompanied by Police Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho, and Republic of Fiji Military Forces Chief of Staff, Colonel Litea Seruiratu.
Ratu Inoke held bilateral meetings with Indonesia’s Chief of Defence and discussed future defence co-operation between the RFMF and the Indonesian Defence Forces. Further bilateral meetings with the Indonesian Minster for Defence will be held today.
Our ministerial delegation will also visit the Indonesian Peacekeeping centre.
