Tots Enjoy Exchange Excursion

Two preschool institutions in Nadi got together yesterday in an effort to make a difference in the community that they live in.
Kindergarten students of Nawaicoba Public Kindergarten were in high spirits with their counterparts of International School Nadi (ISN).
The event was organised as a learning excursion experience exchange between the two early childhood education institutions.
ISN parent representative Victoria Storck said: “We came together and thought to do something that we could share.”
The students from both schools performed dances, drama, singing and activities to make the day educational and enjoyable too.
Ashika Narayan, 33, a parent of Nawaicoba Public Kindergarten said they were glad to host their counterpart school from town because it brought them closer.
“I believe this programme is useful to the children. This is a good experience, especially in terms of language, they can learn from each other.
“I believe for the children in rural areas to socialise with children of the same age from the town, they get to learn new things,” she said.
Nawaicoba Public Kindergarten teacher, Saras Kumar said they all enjoyed themselves as both institutions got to showcase their talents.
