Hydraulic Hose Batinikama TIV football team are confident of winning the 75th Northern Then India Valibar Sangam mini-convention trophy at Subrail Park, Labasa tomorrow.

Coach Bal Krishna said since the tournament began, they have won the trophy eight times.

“Our team is one of the best in the tournament and we have come prepared,” Krishna said.

“We have 16 players who have been training for this tournament for over a month and definitely we will not return home empty-handed. We have young dedicated players and most of them are secondary school students.”

In their opening match on Thursday they drew 1-1 with Namara/Benau TIV.

Convention organising committee chairman Arvin Raju was impressed with Tabucola TIV on the first day.

“We are expecting tough competition,” Raju said. The Cup final would be held tomorrow.
