West Golfers Win A Grade

The Westerners create history winning the East vs West challenge at the Fiji Golf Club in Suva yesterday.
The westerners won the A-grade scoring 7/5 for the eighth consecutive year.
The team comprise of Romit Chandra, Ashish Chand, Abid Hussain, Baarroon Hussain, Munesh Prasad,Pranil Prasad, Kaushil Tappoo and Roneel Prakash.
The Eastern team won the Hedstrom Cup for the B-grade 6/5 and the Joe Singh Cup in the C-grade.
West captain Roneel Prakash was excited with the win.
“The tournament was challenging, we knew the East side will be strong so we mapped out a plan to counter them,”he said.
“We are happy we won the main division again.”
